This picture dates from late 1971 or early 1972. At the console is Terry Manning (we think), and in the studio is Chris Bell, recording overdubs or possibly just posing for the photographer. This would be Studio A when it was very new , with the also new 24 input 8 bus Spectrasonics console looming large. The three speakers hanging would have been used for listening in mono (center) and stereo (left and right). The piano, organ, and Leslie seen through the control room glass are still in use today.
