Studio A

Studio A is a spacious room with a Neve VR60-60×48 console with Flying Faders Automation. It is our premiere tracking room. Flying Faders Automation makes it popular among engineers for mixing as well. Studio A floor measures 25 ft by 40 ft with three isolation booths.

Studio A is the largest room at Ardent, providing ample space for large and small ensembles alike. The studio floor was able to accommodate country music superstars Montgomery Gentry and their slew of session players and gear in 2008, so if you’ve got a big group of people that you need to be recorded, A is the room for you.

Digital Audio Workstation

1 ProTools 8.0 HD3 Accell system running on an Apple G5 computer with dual 2.0 GHz processors, 1.5 GB of RAM and an Apple 23″ Cinema HD display.

A total of 60 analog inputs and 32 analog outputs available.

Cue System

All studios feature a Hear Back Personal Monitor System, made by Hear Technologies, Inc. The system allows up to 8 individual mixes of up to 8 channels.
