Lucas Limiting Amplifier

The Lucas Limiting Amplifier is a limiter/compressor that was modeled after the UA 176’s. This is one of those few compressors that utilizes the actual vacuum tubes as the voltage-controlled amplifier. It has no optical devices or VCA’s. Just real tube sound with a custom hand wound output transformer from the factory. Try this compressor on lead vocals and you’ll hear the difference.
