Our UA 176’s have quite a long history. These original factory units were purchased by owner John Fry in 1967 and have made their way onto most of the records recorded here over the years. From the days at the original building on National Street to the current records we are tracking today, these compressors have seen, or maybe ‘heard’, it all. With variable attack and release settings, as well as adjustable ratios, these Compressors tend to bring out the best in a sound source. They will perfectly compliment your bass, vocal, acoustic, or electric guitar tracks.
