Pultec EQP

The Pultec EQP-1A is one of the classic analog equalizers. Ours has been around the block for many years and still sounds like it did the day it left the factory. Originally purchase by John Fry when they were putting out 45s from his grandmother’s sewing room, the Pultec has been used on classic Ardent recordings throughout our entire history. The Pultec EQ has long been a choice of recording and mastering engineers for its ability to bring out individual frequency ranges without significantly altering other frequencies. In addition, the Pultec is one of those magical pieces of gear that makes audio sound better just by passing the signal through it. The EQP-1A is a great addition to any vocal chain, as well as, a great EQ for things like hi hats.
