Lexicon 224 XL
Originally released in 1978, the Lexicon 224 XL, although not the first digital reverb, was one of the forerunners of digital reverberation. This unit contains Chambers, Plates and Rooms that have been used on numerous records over the years. The 224 XL is made up of a four-rack space ‘brain’ section that has a LARC (Lexicon Alphanumeric Remote Control) that offers quick and easy adjustment to all programs and parameters. Lexicon has since developed many new types of digital reverberation, but the 224 XL is still a classic piece.
