Marshall Time Modulator
The MTM is an analog effects unit, developed in the late 70’s, that modulates and manipulates audio delay times. The input signal is fed through two analog delay lines, which are manually controlled. The delay time can be adjusted independently from a wide range LFO circuit, allowing you to make a blend of the two if desired. The Dry signal and the delay signal are combined on the output, and there is even a separate feedback control. Some of the effects that you can create with this unit include: vibrato, positive flange, negative flange, tube echo, auto doubling, and many more. You might recognize this unit’s sound, as it was used to create Darth Vader’s voice in the original Star Wars trilogy.
